I have always been committed to creating a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff. With  COVID-19 and the understandable concern that it has created, I want to take a moment to reassure guests that we’re being hyper-vigilant in light of the spread of the virus.  Based on recommendations from the CDC, some of the measures we’re taking include:

  • All staff have completed the ServeSafe online Food Safety course and passed the exam
  • Employees are screened for illness upon arrival.  Anyone displaying symptoms will immediately be sent home
  • All employees wear PPE while in the Café including masks and gloves
  • Ongoing training and supervision on proper cleaning, disinfection and hand hygiene
  • The kitchen and all prep areas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each shift
  • Shifts are staggered to reduce the number of people in the Café at any given time
  • Customers are asked to refrain from entering the Café to pick up their dinner order; our staff delivers meals curbside
  • Takeout window equipment, including counters and touchpads are regularly disinfected throughout each shift
